Last Friday AreaMinera.com and Mining, exploration and Energetic Development expert team from Apec (Gemeed), signed an agreement of cooperation in which both institution joint human and tecnological effort in order to develop and promote mining industry at Pacific Asia area. To this event attended both president of Gemeed mr. Tomas Astorga and commercial manager of AreaMinera.com mr. Ronald Guzman.

Geemed was created in 1995, with the support of all members of Apec which are interested supply, demand, use and consumption of minerals and metalic product, with an active participation at the more important economic center from Pacific Asia area, creating strong corporative and professional bonds of way of improving sustainable development from this region.

Tomas Astorga said the main mission of Geemed is “supply and stimulate mining activity inside APEC, to establish a relation between mining and energetic exploration, to foment the respect by environment, sustainable and an integral mining conception to all members”.

In this agreement, AreaMinera.com is committed to promote all subject related with mining activity within Apec by using its informatic knowledge, becoming the official communication channel of the activities that is developed by Gemeed.

President’ Gemeed said that it allows them to have an important channel of communication and diffusion towards the mining world of Chile, Latin America and the rest of the world. In the same way it stood out with this channel like ally, they will get private mining world knows about the work Gemeed are making and there will be chance for working together.

On the other hand, Ronald Guzman commercial manager of AreaMinera said that “ is important make agreement with international organization like Gemeed that allows us to canalize the information of others countries through ours site, as well as to improve the image of the national and international mining industry, allowing that people know what is the mining, not only in Chile but also in Asia Pacific”.
